Narrative:
Clearance given was pomona six departure, avenal transition. Upon contacting 'socal' departure I called out the altitude we were leaving for assigned altitude. The POM6 has a restr over pomona at or below 8000 ft. Our altitude selector was set on 8000 ft. After contact with 'socal' he gave us 14000 ft with the restr over pom. I reset the altitude selector to 14000 ft before we crossed pom at or below 8000 ft. Captain did not catch my big mistake. We crossed pom above 8000 ft.
