Narrative:
On short final for runway 23 at gon we struck a flock of geese at 400 ft AGL. I saw the geese just prior to impact but there was no time to maneuver to avoid them. There were 2 loud impacts and a slight yawing of the nose. A normal landing followed. There was severe damage to the right side flaps. I don't think I could have avoided them so my only suggestion is to fly the airplane and don't get too distracted by a bird strike or other abnormals on short final.
