Narrative:
First officer flying. Flight data computer reset altimeters on first officer's side during takeoff roll. We were given a leveloff altitude of 8000 ft. Caught altitude discrepancy at 8000 ft and leveled off at 8400 ft. No traffic conflict. Right side flight data computer had been giving us trouble during engine starts during the day.
