Narrative:
While flying the BE90C we were told that the flap was out of an airworthiness directive note. Previously, we were told that the airworthiness directive was good through the end of the month. Clearly, pilots need to have a means to verify maintenance airworthiness directives.

Title: PLT OF GOV FLT IN BE90C LEARNS AFTER THE FACT THAT AN AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE ON THE FLAP WAS DUE.
Narrative: WHILE FLYING THE BE90C WE WERE TOLD THAT THE FLAP WAS OUT OF AN AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE NOTE. PREVIOUSLY, WE WERE TOLD THAT THE AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE WAS GOOD THROUGH THE END OF THE MONTH. CLRLY, PLTS NEED TO HAVE A MEANS TO VERIFY MAINT AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES.
