Narrative:
After landing on runway 23R at cle was told to hold short of runway 23L. I exited the runway at taxiway K and held short of hold short lines nearest runway 23L. I was informed by tower I had crossed the hold short line. The connecting taxiway K is very short there and there are 2 sets of hold short lines. In most cases we hold short of the one closest to the runway we are told to hold short of. That's what I did. The hold short that tower wanted is closest to runway 23R and not runway 23L. Maybe a note could be put on the 10-7 or shown on the 10-9 or tower could say hold short of runway 23L at the first set of hold short lines.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AN ACR B737 FLC CROSS THE HOLD LINE FOR RWY 23L WHEN THEY CONFUSED THE LINE NEAREST TO THAT RWY FOR THE CORRECT HOLD LINE. THE CORRECT HOLD LINE FOR RWY 23L IS, APPARENTLY, NEAREST TO RWY 23R.
