Narrative:
Departed mkg on VFR pleasure flight to the vicinity of grand blanc, mi, on nov/sat/97. On approach to an uncharted private landing field I hit some power lines across the approach path. These wires were not marked. I was able to go around and make a normal landing. Subsequent examination of the aircraft proved to be slight and there were no injuries. Some sort of marking on these wires would have helped to prevent this incident.
