Narrative:
During an annual inspection I found the engine compression low or non existent on several cylinders, informed the owner, gave him a list of unairworthy items and made a logbook entry of unairworthy items (the unairworthy engine). The owner then flew the aircraft away.

Title: A C172 WAS OPERATED AFTER AN ANNUAL INSPECTION REVEALED THE ENG WAS IN AN UNAIRWORTHY CONDITION AND NOTED AS SUCH IN THE LOGBOOK.
Narrative: DURING AN ANNUAL INSPECTION I FOUND THE ENG COMPRESSION LOW OR NON EXISTENT ON SEVERAL CYLINDERS, INFORMED THE OWNER, GAVE HIM A LIST OF UNAIRWORTHY ITEMS AND MADE A LOGBOOK ENTRY OF UNAIRWORTHY ITEMS (THE UNAIRWORTHY ENG). THE OWNER THEN FLEW THE ACFT AWAY.
