Narrative:
During arrival to msp from cid to msp, I accepted a descent clearance via the kaspr arrival. I believed the clearance altitude was 10000 ft. When I leveled at 10000 ft, the center questioned what altitude we were cleared to. I replied that it was possible I had descended to the wrong altitude, but I thought I had heard 10000 ft and had read back 10000 ft. The controller replied that there was no problem and not to worry about the possible conflict. I do not recall any event that could have caused a distraction during the initial clearance and I am still not sure if I was in error or not.

Title: AN ACR DC9 FLC DSNDED TO 10000 FT AND WERE QUESTIONED ABOUT THEIR ALT ASSIGNMENT BY THE ARTCC CTLR.
Narrative: DURING ARR TO MSP FROM CID TO MSP, I ACCEPTED A DSCNT CLRNC VIA THE KASPR ARR. I BELIEVED THE CLRNC ALT WAS 10000 FT. WHEN I LEVELED AT 10000 FT, THE CTR QUESTIONED WHAT ALT WE WERE CLRED TO. I REPLIED THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE I HAD DSNDED TO THE WRONG ALT, BUT I THOUGHT I HAD HEARD 10000 FT AND HAD READ BACK 10000 FT. THE CTLR REPLIED THAT THERE WAS NO PROB AND NOT TO WORRY ABOUT THE POSSIBLE CONFLICT. I DO NOT RECALL ANY EVENT THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED A DISTR DURING THE INITIAL CLRNC AND I AM STILL NOT SURE IF I WAS IN ERROR OR NOT.
