Narrative:
A hard landing was made in C550 at X09 ocean reef, fl, due to the captain not flying a stabilized approach. His speed decayed throughout the approach and the aircraft stalled approximately 5-10 ft above the runway. The aircraft sustained some noticeable damage to the nosewheel casting but the tire stayed inflated. After repeated calls to the company chief pilot with no response, the captain made the decision to fly the aircraft to our maintenance base at btl. Although I did not agree with him he assured me it would be ok. After an uneventful flight to our maintenance base substantial damage was discovered. I later came to the conclusion that extreme errors in judgement as well as numerous FARS had been violated, ie, no ferry permit, or post hard landing check. Even though I was not the PF I did decide to leave with the captain and now regret that decision. There were no injuries only aircraft damage in this accident.

Title: CAPT OF A CPR LTT MADE A HARD LNDG CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE ACFT. POSTFLT INSPECTION DISCLOSED DAMAGE TO THE NOSEWHEEL AND THE ACFT WAS FLOWN TO COMPANY MAINT BASE WITHOUT AN OFFICIAL INSPECTION BY A MECH AND WITHOUT A FERRY PERMIT.
Narrative: A HARD LNDG WAS MADE IN C550 AT X09 OCEAN REEF, FL, DUE TO THE CAPT NOT FLYING A STABILIZED APCH. HIS SPD DECAYED THROUGHOUT THE APCH AND THE ACFT STALLED APPROX 5-10 FT ABOVE THE RWY. THE ACFT SUSTAINED SOME NOTICEABLE DAMAGE TO THE NOSEWHEEL CASTING BUT THE TIRE STAYED INFLATED. AFTER REPEATED CALLS TO THE COMPANY CHIEF PLT WITH NO RESPONSE, THE CAPT MADE THE DECISION TO FLY THE ACFT TO OUR MAINT BASE AT BTL. ALTHOUGH I DID NOT AGREE WITH HIM HE ASSURED ME IT WOULD BE OK.
