Narrative:
After landing at ZZZ, company assigned us to gate xx. Ground control cleared us to gate xx. After giving way to traffic that had pushed from gate xx. While following the instructions of the marshaller (who was using wands) to gate xx, the aircraft made contact with a baggage cart. The ramp was contaminated and the service vehicle lanes were not visible. The lead in line was barely visible. A wing walker was in position at the left wing. The marshaller lost eye contact with the wing walker. The wing walker signaled the marshaller to stop the aircraft, but the marshaller did not see him. The marshaller continued to direct the forward. By the time the wing walker got the attention of the marshaller and the marshaller signaled me to stop with crossed wands and I applied the brakes. The aircraft had already made contact with the baggage cart. There were no injuries to personnel, however the aircraft sustained the following damage: 2 static wicks on the left wingtip were broken off and the lens for the aft facing position light was broken.
