Narrative:
Approximately 20 min prior to landing the captain said it would get bumpy. We completed our final compliance check and just as I got to my jump seat at xa we hit severe turbulence. Cabin attendant #1 was at xb handing out coats and his shoulder hit the coat closet and the passenger seat of xc. The passenger at xc then held him toward the floor. Flight attendant #1 crawled to his jump seat. When the air smoothed, I found out he was hurt and sat a deadheader in first class in #1 jump seat for landing.
