Narrative:

DC9 was #1 on final, B727 was #2 on final. Both aircraft were cleared and told to maintain 180 KTS to the marker, DC9 slowed early. DC9 came out of the clouds at 900 ft MSL and told to sidestep to runway 9L (at this time aircraft were separated by less than 200 ft and 1/2 mi). B727 landed on runway 9R before DC9 landed runway 9L. Supervisor was notified no action taken.

Title: AN ACR DC9 AND B727 WERE ON APCH TO RWY 9L WITH A SPD RESTR OF 180 KTS UNTIL THE MARKER. THE DC9 SLOWED TOO EARLY CAUSING THE B727 TO START OVERTAKING. THE RPTR CTLR HAD THE DC9 SIDESTEP TO RWY 9R. THE B727 LANDED AHEAD OF THE DC9. SUPVR CTLR WAS NOTIFIED, BUT NO ACTION TAKEN.

SUPVR WAS NOTIFIED NO ACTION TAKEN.
