Captain of a B737 failed to make a course turn during cruise due to first officer forgetting to advise him that the first officer's course radial indicator had centered. ATC intervened to advise that they were 8 mi off course whereby the captain immediately turned back to course.

Narrative:
Failed to join the 235 degree radial to woodstown. No aircraft present on TCASII 30 mi range. Flight was going dca-pvd. Controller questioned situation so we turned immediately left to join. He cleared us direct robbinsville. Copilot just failed to advise me that his preset radial had centered.
