Narrative:
For about the 5TH time these past 12 months, while centerline on J174, the controller says we're close to the warning area (4-6 mi east of course). This happens in different aircraft of same type, so it's not an aircraft-specific navigation problem. Airplane has only VOR-DME based navigation on board (no RNAV of any type). Assigned headings were then followed to turn inland (wbound). Shortly thereafter, resumed normal navigation on course.
