Narrative:

The PF busted altitude by approximately 700 ft. He was supposed to level off at 13000 ft. However, I guess he was not paying attention and he overshot 13000 ft by 700 ft. Controller asked what altitude we were assigned. I said 13000 ft. Our company requires a second pilot to ride along. However, this is a single pilot aircraft (under 12500 ft) and I was not the PF at the time of this occurrence. At the time of occurrence, I was looking down, doing paperwork.
