Narrative:

Flying VFR on top at 9500 ft. Climb needed to stay on top - - target altitude 11500 ft. Climb was stopped at 10500 ft (improper for direction of flight). Why? I don't know. Human error probably caused by very little sleep the previous night. Not as alert as should have been. Error corrected a few mins later.

Title: PVT PLT OF A BEECH BONANZA, BE35, LEVELED OFF AT THE WRONG ALT FOR THE DIRECTION OF FLT. HE CAUGHT HIS ERROR AFTER A FEW MINS AND CORRECTED TO THE NEXT HIGHER AND APPROPRIATE ALT.
