Narrative:
During initial leveloff at 7000 ft. Unable to maintain altitude due to updraft in vicinity of 2 buildups in our flight path. First officer advised mia departure of flight conditions. Aircraft climbed as high as 7500 ft before leveloff was completed. Flight continued normally.

Narrative: DURING INITIAL LEVELOFF AT 7000 FT. UNABLE TO MAINTAIN ALT DUE TO UPDRAFT IN VICINITY OF 2 BUILDUPS IN OUR FLT PATH. FO ADVISED MIA DEP OF FLT CONDITIONS. ACFT CLBED AS HIGH AS 7500 FT BEFORE LEVELOFF WAS COMPLETED. FLT CONTINUED NORMALLY.
