Narrative:
Cruising level at FL260 southeast of denver deviating east of the departure for thunderstorms and WX. Heading about 135 degrees near drake intersection we receive a TA from opposite direction converging traffic at FL270. Traffic started a descent and we received an RA TCASII to descend. Turned autoplt off and went down to FL255 before conflict was resolved. Other traffic never stopped its descent. We also turned left while descending to help avoid this traffic, climbed back to FL260 and advised ATC.
