Narrative:

Prior to departure from cvg, we received an updated clearance from cvg to dsm for WX. We had already received one clearance prior. The clearance delivery controller read us a new clearance, very quickly, which included the same SID with a different transition. Neither the captain nor I (first officer) heard this and the controller didn't catch it in our readback. From carrf intersection, we proceeded to vhp. We were supposed to have gone carrf to tth (terre haute). The problem: too many changes too late in the game, also the controller missed the readback.

Title: ACR CL65 FLC ISSUED DEP CLRNC CHANGE, BUT DID NOT COPY SID TRANSITION CHANGE. ATC INTERVENED WHEN FLC DID NOT EXECUTE AMENDED SID TRANSITION. FO ADMITS ERROR, BUT STATES THAT TWR CLRNC DELIVERY SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT INCORRECT CLRNC READBACK.
