Narrative:

Jun/mon/98, flight at approximately XA30. The captain called our #1 flight attendant to the cockpit and informed her that engine #1 had lost the oil pressure and caused it to completely shut down. He instructed her to prepare the cabin for landing in tampa, we had approximately 15 mins, we would not need to use our preplanned emergency cards, an evacuate/evacuation would not be necessary and we would be escorted to the gate by fire trucks when we landed. We were not to worry the aircraft will fly just fine with 2 engines. Our #1 briefed the #2 and myself, and I then prepared the cabin for landing as our captain made the PA explaining our diversion to the passenger. Our landing in tampa was uneventful and we taxied to the gate. Our passenger deplaned and were met by the agents and local medic. The agents made every effort to reboard the passenger on different flts. Our crew remained on board for 5 1/2 hours waiting for an aircraft to be ferried from mia for us to continue. Within 1 hour of landing, dca flight service manager called for our #1 and wanted to make sure the crew was okay. Approximately XG00 an aircraft arrived, passenger were boarded and we departed tampa for miami. Our crew was met by mia flight service manager who also wanted to make sure we were okay and offer any help. A call was placed to crew scheduling to have our crew released and deadhead home that evening.
