Narrative:

There was severe WX that impacted kansas city ARTCC resulting in aircraft being rerouted through ZFW. Central flow and ftw traffic management failed to reach out and establish in-trail spacing, ground stop aircraft or any other means necessary to control the volume and order of air traffic that entered ZFW. The traffic was unmanageable and potentially dangerous and unsafe with sectors past saturation levels. There was not enough staffing to provide breaks, controllers were spending over 3 hours on position under extreme traffic conditions. More staffing needs to be added and central flow, ft worth tmu, and supervisors have to be held accountable for sits that are controllable. Supplemental information from acn 406165: I endured 4 hours and 25 mins on position without a break, many times rubbing my eyes in an attempt to moisten them. Training was taking place on mlc-low radar during this period, and was never broken the entire time. This could have freed up at least 1 controller. (Other controllers were also forced to work 3+ hours without a break.) during this period, numerous airspace violations occurred, and at times, the sector(south) were out of control. Some aircraft were put on our frequency while still in a handoff status. Some were 30 or more mi off course, and we were working them without flight plan information, because previous controllers were too busy to amend the flight plan.
