Narrative:

Load data is reported to the pilots by station operations personnel via ACARS and/or paper weight tab. Station operations is the pilot's only means of determining how much cargo was loaded on an airplane. Approximately 1 hour into the flight, which departed anc at XA18 local time en route to lax, we reported a fuel overburn of approximately 5000 pounds to our dispatcher via ACARS. The dispatcher responded informing us that anc operations neglected to report 65000 pounds of cargo which was on-loaded in anc. The aircraft was not over its structural or runway performance weight, but our flight plan fuel burn was incorrect due to the heavier weight. The captain decided to stop in sea for fuel. A normal approach and landing were made. We were not fuel critical at any time. Fuel on aircraft was approximately 59000 pounds providing about 2 hours flying time.

Title: THE FLC OF A 4 ENG WDB CARBO ACFT NOTICED DURING CRUISE THAT THEY HAD BURNED MORE FUEL THAN COMPUTED FOR FLT RESULTING IN STOPPING ENRTE FOR FUEL. THEY WERE INFORMED BY DISPATCH THAT THERE WAS AN ADDITIONAL 65000 LBS OF CARGO LOADED ONBOARD AT DEP THAT WAS NOT LISTED ON THEIR MANIFEST CAUSING A HIGHER FUEL BURN THAN EXPECTED.

Narrative: LOAD DATA IS RPTED TO THE PLTS BY STATION OPS PERSONNEL VIA ACARS AND/OR PAPER WT TAB. STATION OPS IS THE PLT'S ONLY MEANS OF DETERMINING HOW MUCH CARGO WAS LOADED ON AN AIRPLANE. APPROX 1 HR INTO THE FLT, WHICH DEPARTED ANC AT XA18 LCL TIME ENRTE TO LAX, WE RPTED A FUEL OVERBURN OF APPROX 5000 LBS TO OUR DISPATCHER VIA ACARS. THE DISPATCHER RESPONDED INFORMING US THAT ANC OPS NEGLECTED TO RPT 65000 LBS OF CARGO WHICH WAS ON-LOADED IN ANC. THE ACFT WAS NOT OVER ITS STRUCTURAL OR RWY PERFORMANCE WT, BUT OUR FLT PLAN FUEL BURN WAS INCORRECT DUE TO THE HEAVIER WT. THE CAPT DECIDED TO STOP IN SEA FOR FUEL. A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG WERE MADE. WE WERE NOT FUEL CRITICAL AT ANY TIME. FUEL ON ACFT WAS APPROX 59000 LBS PROVIDING ABOUT 2 HRS FLYING TIME.
