Landed with nosewheel retracted. Minor damage to aircraft. Nosewheel up/warning for throttle to idle was disabled due to electrical wiring problems. New aircraft (15 hours since completion), new long ez pilot. Established specific procedure to lower nosewheel prior to turning base leg of pattern.

Title: PVT PLT OF AN EXPERIMENTAL, AMATEUR BUILT SEL FORGOT TO PUT THE RETRACTABLE NOSE GEAR DOWN PRIOR TO LNDG, RESULTING IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE ACFT.
Narrative: LANDED WITH NOSEWHEEL RETRACTED. MINOR DAMAGE TO ACFT. NOSEWHEEL UP/WARNING FOR THROTTLE TO IDLE WAS DISABLED DUE TO ELECTRICAL WIRING PROBS. NEW ACFT (15 HRS SINCE COMPLETION), NEW LONG EZ PLT. ESTABLISHED SPECIFIC PROC TO LOWER NOSEWHEEL PRIOR TO TURNING BASE LEG OF PATTERN.
