Narrative:
Upon receiving descent clearance, I noticed that the approach plates for the airport at which the approach was to be executed, were not in the packet. I requested the necessary information from the center controller and received it from the unicom attendant. In the future I feel I should check the plates I intend to use and the publisher should ensure that all plates are accounted for.
