Narrative:

On approach (visual ILS backup) runway 4R bos, flaps were positioned from 1 degree to 5 degrees. The right flap indicator showed 2 degrees flaps and the left flap continued to 5 degrees flaps. I went around and continued to fly the airplane. The captain ran all the checklists using our QRH, rolled the emergency procedure and positioned the flaps to 2 degrees for the approach. The landing was uneventful. Consulted brake cooling chart and waited for the cooling time to expire.
