Narrative:

As the PNF I responded to our clearance to pass 35 NM southwest of gsp at 11000 ft. The captain began his descent and began to program 'the box.' I began to get the ATIS and give an 'in range' report and make a PA, never checking to see how the descent was doing. (The captain has 7 yrs on the aircraft.) by the time I noticed it, we were not going to make our restr, passed 35 mi out at 13000 ft. In the future, I won't assume the captain will take care of it. I'll check to make sure before going on to other tasks.
