Narrative:
On preflight, aircraft would not accept external power nor would APU start at the APU fault test panel in aft cargo bin, the fault read 'door circuit...269...see maintenance manual.' after contacting maintenance control of problem and on their recommendation pulled flight deck circuit breakers 28M&north for reset. This did not work. We proceeded to get external air and accomplished a dc start on engine #1 and xbleed #2. Operations normal after start.
