Narrative:
After aircraft was fueled, fueler brought up fuel slip pointing out that xchk calculations were out of tolerance at 151 gallons instead of +/-150 gallons. Tanks were 'sticked,' computations made, and it was discovered center tank was off by 700 pounds. Tolerance was 800 pounds. New fuel slip issued reflecting change and we pushed back. As we pushed back, vsi annunciated in lower right corner of captain's LCD TCASII/vsi display. Pulled and reset circuit breaker. Display came back. Display failed 3 more times, last time when taking runway. Returned to gate where display was replaced and flight continued without further incident.
