Narrative:

With destination of bismarck, nd, with a stop in far, nd, on takeoff from ane the WX in far was 1/4 SM fog and forecasted to be 1/2 SM fog. Bismarck was 76 SM clear. I flew to far and diverted to bismarck before attempting an approach in far. When departing ane, I perceived bis as my destination, and only considered landing in far because it was on the way to bis. But, knowing the WX was too low for an approach, went on to bis.
