Narrative:
Landed lax runway 25L, when passing taxiway K tower said exit at the high speed MD11 1 mi final. We exited taxiway M approximately 10 KTS above normal exit speed. Tower said hold short of runway 25R and stay with tower. I read back instructions, looked to right to hang up the microphone, and saw an aircraft lifting off runway 25R. It appeared we were still moving rapidly. I called 'stop' runway ahead. We were beyond the hold line. Nose appeared to be just short of white line at runway edge when stopped.
