Narrative:

While on descent for landing at isp, ATC (new york approach) cleared us to descend to 3000 ft MSL. During a heading change, I looked up to see that we were descending through 2600 ft MSL. I immediately told the PF to check altitude. He climbed promptly back to 3000 ft. At our lowest, we were at 2300 ft MSL. ATC made no mention and TCASII showed no conflicts. I simply did not monitor the captain properly.

Title: A CPR JET OVERSHOT ITS ALT IN DSCNT.

Narrative: WHILE ON DSCNT FOR LNDG AT ISP, ATC (NEW YORK APCH) CLRED US TO DSND TO 3000 FT MSL. DURING A HDG CHANGE, I LOOKED UP TO SEE THAT WE WERE DSNDING THROUGH 2600 FT MSL. I IMMEDIATELY TOLD THE PF TO CHK ALT. HE CLBED PROMPTLY BACK TO 3000 FT. AT OUR LOWEST, WE WERE AT 2300 FT MSL. ATC MADE NO MENTION AND TCASII SHOWED NO CONFLICTS. I SIMPLY DID NOT MONITOR THE CAPT PROPERLY.
