Failed to assure forward baggage door secure. Door opened at vr, causing aborted takeoff, no damage, injuries, etc. I should have checked the door!

Title: A C414 ATX PLT ABORTS HIS TKOF AT VR WHEN THE FORWARD BAGGAGE DOOR COMES OPEN.
Narrative: FAILED TO ASSURE FORWARD BAGGAGE DOOR SECURE. DOOR OPENED AT VR, CAUSING ABORTED TKOF, NO DAMAGE, INJURIES, ETC. I SHOULD HAVE CHKED THE DOOR!
