Narrative:

On extended right base runway 1R at las we were turning toward final when (either tower or approach -- I think tower) told us to level off immediately, as a citation (who had been warned 3 times to stay away) came underneath us in the opposite direction. Tower gave us a phone number on the ground and we called it and they said they were going to pursue action against the citation jet. We had done nothing wrong. Our cockpit workload was very high as we had initially intercepted las runway 25L localizer and then broke off for vectors to right traffic runway 1R. Thank goodness for TCASII, which told us to level off concurrent with the tower's instructions.

Narrative: ON EXTENDED R BASE RWY 1R AT LAS WE WERE TURNING TOWARD FINAL WHEN (EITHER TWR OR APCH -- I THINK TWR) TOLD US TO LEVEL OFF IMMEDIATELY, AS A CITATION (WHO HAD BEEN WARNED 3 TIMES TO STAY AWAY) CAME UNDERNEATH US IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. TWR GAVE US A PHONE NUMBER ON THE GND AND WE CALLED IT AND THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO PURSUE ACTION AGAINST THE CITATION JET. WE HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG. OUR COCKPIT WORKLOAD WAS VERY HIGH AS WE HAD INITIALLY INTERCEPTED LAS RWY 25L LOC AND THEN BROKE OFF FOR VECTORS TO R TFC RWY 1R. THANK GOODNESS FOR TCASII, WHICH TOLD US TO LEVEL OFF CONCURRENT WITH THE TWR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
