Narrative:
Flight air carrier X was sbound to lima, peru on G437 approximately 120 NM north of duxun intersection. We were cruising at FL350 assigned, and in radio contact with kingston approach control 128.1. At XX09Z we received a TA on TCASII. First officer and I tried to locate traffic visually. The TA quickly turned into an RA annunciating 'climb!' autoplt was disconnected and an immediate climb initiated. All exterior lights were turned on. Threat aircraft turned his on and announced 'turning left, turning left!' we continued climb and also turned left. Threat aircraft to our west. When clear of conflict, we descended back to FL350 kingston center admitted he forgot to descend our aircraft to FL330. We did descend subsequently. No injuries to passenger or crew.
