Narrative:
While briefing the instrument approach to la romana, dominican republic, the approach plate was seen to have a misleading missed approach depiction on its planview (mdlr NDB). The instructions are to turn to a 240 degree heading, but the planview depicts interception of the 240 degree bearing outbound.

Title: AT42 FLC NOTES CONFUSING MISSED APCH DEPICTION ON CHART IN MDCS AIRSPACE.
Narrative: WHILE BRIEFING THE INST APCH TO LA ROMANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, THE APCH PLATE WAS SEEN TO HAVE A MISLEADING MISSED APCH DEPICTION ON ITS PLANVIEW (MDLR NDB). THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE TO TURN TO A 240 DEG HDG, BUT THE PLANVIEW DEPICTS INTERCEPTION OF THE 240 DEG BEARING OUTBOUND.
