Aircraft xyz, dec/xa/98, flight zyz, used wrong MEL number. Used xx-yy-zz aft detector fan message, should have used zz- yy-zz aft cargo fan message. I was at fault, I knew better I let myself get in a hurry.

Title: A B757-200 WAS DISPATCHED WITH THE WRONG AFT CARGO SYS FAN DEFERRED. THE AFT CARGO HEAT FAN FAILED BUT THE AFT CARGO SMOKE DETECTOR FAN WAS DEFERRED IN ERROR.
Narrative: ACFT XYZ, DEC/XA/98, FLT ZYZ, USED WRONG MEL NUMBER. USED XX-YY-ZZ AFT DETECTOR FAN MESSAGE, SHOULD HAVE USED ZZ- YY-ZZ AFT CARGO FAN MESSAGE. I WAS AT FAULT, I KNEW BETTER I LET MYSELF GET IN A HURRY.
