Narrative:

Upon interception of ILS runway 10R, there was a flight control panel malfunction which put the airplane in roll mode and did not capture the ILS. We declared a missed approach. ATC gave us a heading of 280 degrees, climb and maintain 5000 ft. We did. We got a TA on TCASII and ATC came back and told us to descend to 4500 ft. We did. On the ground ATC called us, told us there was a traffic conflict with a king air they cleared for takeoff on runway 28R opposite direction. Hell, it was IFR.
