Narrative:
We were on a right downwind for runway 29R. Tower cleared us to land on runway 29L. We continued our approach and landed on runway 29R. It never registered to me that we were cleared to land on runway 29L. I have flown this particular leg (sfo-fat) for over 2 hours and very rarely have been cleared to land on runway 29L while on a right downwind for runway 29R. It should be noted that I had a slight cold which may have played a part in this matter. It should also be noted that fat almost always has their runways very dimly lit, with runway 29R being the brighter of the two. I feel that all of these factors played a part of landing on the wrong runway. The tower (during the subsequent phone call) told me they would not pursue me with a violation since there weren't any other aircraft involved. The bottom line is flying the same trip day after day can lead to complacency. Always stay alert.
