Narrative:

Aircraft took off and moments later cockpit had an overheating light indicating there was an electrical problem in the tail cone of aircraft. We returned to the gate and aircraft maintenance took over. We changed aircraft and resumed our flight. No passenger were injured. Normal deplaning of passenger was completed.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT REGARDING AN S80 WHICH HAD AN OVERHEAT LIGHT ACTIVATE INDICATING AN ELECTRICAL PROB IN THE TAIL CONE, JUST AFTER TKOF. ACFT RETURNED TO THE DEP ARPT.

Narrative: ACFT TOOK OFF AND MOMENTS LATER COCKPIT HAD AN OVERHEATING LIGHT INDICATING THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL PROB IN THE TAIL CONE OF ACFT. WE RETURNED TO THE GATE AND ACFT MAINT TOOK OVER. WE CHANGED ACFT AND RESUMED OUR FLT. NO PAX WERE INJURED. NORMAL DEPLANING OF PAX WAS COMPLETED.
