Narrative:
While landing on runway 32, which I was cleared for but had to hold short of runway 1 because I felt I was going to fast, I decided to go around. I was about 2000 ft down the runway when I decided this. I saw the plane which was simultaneously landing on runway 1 pass through the intersection, so I felt it was safe to go around. As I was advancing the throttle, I called the tower to alert them of my course of action. I was then cleared to go around and landed on runway 1 with no further problems. When on ground the tower asked me to call them. After shutting down, I called, and received no help from them. The individual who I spoke to, claimed my actions were unsafe. I understood his concern, but I felt that avoiding rolling through the intersection was my best choice. In addition, the controller claimed that I had not called out that I was going around. I am quite certain that the controller on the frequency heard me, since he immediately responded to my transmission with instructions for me to make left traffic for runway 1.

Title: PLT EXECUTED A GAR AFTER DETERMINING THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH A LAHSO CLRNC.
Narrative: WHILE LNDG ON RWY 32, WHICH I WAS CLRED FOR BUT HAD TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 1 BECAUSE I FELT I WAS GOING TO FAST, I DECIDED TO GO AROUND. I WAS ABOUT 2000 FT DOWN THE RWY WHEN I DECIDED THIS. I SAW THE PLANE WHICH WAS SIMULTANEOUSLY LNDG ON RWY 1 PASS THROUGH THE INTXN, SO I FELT IT WAS SAFE TO GO AROUND. AS I WAS ADVANCING THE THROTTLE, I CALLED THE TWR TO ALERT THEM OF MY COURSE OF ACTION. I WAS THEN CLRED TO GO AROUND AND LANDED ON RWY 1 WITH NO FURTHER PROBS. WHEN ON GND THE TWR ASKED ME TO CALL THEM. AFTER SHUTTING DOWN, I CALLED, AND RECEIVED NO HELP FROM THEM. THE INDIVIDUAL WHO I SPOKE TO, CLAIMED MY ACTIONS WERE UNSAFE. I UNDERSTOOD HIS CONCERN, BUT I FELT THAT AVOIDING ROLLING THROUGH THE INTXN WAS MY BEST CHOICE. IN ADDITION, THE CTLR CLAIMED THAT I HAD NOT CALLED OUT THAT I WAS GOING AROUND. I AM QUITE CERTAIN THAT THE CTLR ON THE FREQ HEARD ME, SINCE HE IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED TO MY XMISSION WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR ME TO MAKE L TFC FOR RWY 1.
