Narrative:
ATC facility: new york. Location: vibes intersection. Given late call for descent, given 130 KT tailwind. High rate descent failed to capture. Captain flying took over manually with approximately 400 ft deviation. Center made no mention nor gave any indication of loss of traffic separation.
