Narrative:
At cruise at FL370, 20 NM west mck VOR, mccook, northeast. At cruise FL370, VMC, we received a TA, which immediately went to a red RA 'climb, increase climb.' the autoplt was disconnected to climb to FL380. We advised ATC immediately of our advisory and action, and they advised us that there was no traffic at our altitude. The closest traffic was below us at FL330. We then retuned to FL370. There was a white target which showed zero ft on our TCASII display. ZDV on frequency 127.02 reported no traffic and that 'they had these advisories all week.' our position was 20 NM west of mck VOR in denver airspace. FL370, squawk XXXX, transponder left side. TCASII tested 'ok' on the ground prior to flight and also after landing. Our altimeters read 29.72 #1 37000, #2 37020, standby 37000 ft. The aircraft behind us at FL410 also reported a similar TCASII advisory.

Title: A B757-200 RECEIVES A TCASII TA RA AND LEAVES ITS ALT IN ACCORDANCE WITH AIRLINE OPERATIONAL PROC. THE TARGET WAS RPTED BY ATC TO BE A FALSE TARGET. ANOTHER ACFT REPORTED SAME OCCURRENCE PREVIOUSLY IN THE SAME AREA.
Narrative: AT CRUISE AT FL370, 20 NM W MCK VOR, MCCOOK, NE. AT CRUISE FL370, VMC, WE RECEIVED A TA, WHICH IMMEDIATELY WENT TO A RED RA 'CLB, INCREASE CLB.' THE AUTOPLT WAS DISCONNECTED TO CLB TO FL380. WE ADVISED ATC IMMEDIATELY OF OUR ADVISORY AND ACTION, AND THEY ADVISED US THAT THERE WAS NO TFC AT OUR ALT. THE CLOSEST TFC WAS BELOW US AT FL330. WE THEN RETUNED TO FL370. THERE WAS A WHITE TARGET WHICH SHOWED ZERO FT ON OUR TCASII DISPLAY. ZDV ON FREQ 127.02 RPTED NO TFC AND THAT 'THEY HAD THESE ADVISORIES ALL WK.' OUR POS WAS 20 NM W OF MCK VOR IN DENVER AIRSPACE. FL370, SQUAWK XXXX, XPONDER L SIDE. TCASII TESTED 'OK' ON THE GND PRIOR TO FLT AND ALSO AFTER LNDG. OUR ALTIMETERS READ 29.72 #1 37000, #2 37020, STANDBY 37000 FT. THE ACFT BEHIND US AT FL410 ALSO RPTED A SIMILAR TCASII ADVISORY.
