Narrative:
Altitude deviation. ATC facility: ord approach. Location: ord 200 degree radial, 40 DME. First officer set wrong altimeter setting and I failed to catch it. As a result, we passed through our altitude. We immediately returned to 11000 ft. Approach never said anything. We were only off our altitude for a few seconds.

Title: AN FK100 DSNDING INTO ORD DSNDED THROUGH ASSIGNED ALT DUE TO WRONG ALTIMETER SETTING.
Narrative: ALTDEV. ATC FACILITY: ORD APCH. LOCATION: ORD 200 DEG RADIAL, 40 DME. FO SET WRONG ALTIMETER SETTING AND I FAILED TO CATCH IT. AS A RESULT, WE PASSED THROUGH OUR ALT. WE IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO 11000 FT. APCH NEVER SAID ANYTHING. WE WERE ONLY OFF OUR ALT FOR A FEW SECONDS.
