Narrative:

The incident occurred at XA05 on runway 22L at bos airport. During the landing rollout, the scissors on the right main gear came apart at the hinge point due to the bolt having fallen loose. This allowed the right main to freely castor, and it began to shimmy as we slowed in the rollout. The gear eventually turned 90 degrees, bringing the aircraft to a stop. Bos tower closed runway 22L until we were safely towed clear at XA25. In this reporter's opinion, thorough preflts and routine maintenance inspections are measures already being taken to help prevent a recurrence.
