Narrative:
Awaiting visual approach clearance while on a base leg vector, the controller told us to switch frequencys and that we would be changing runways to runway 14L instead of runway 14R. We called the new controller, and he initially thought we were flight B versus flight a. Once again, we told him we were flight a. He reclred us for the visual to runway 14R after the mixup was cleared. The previous controller had most likely mixed up the 2 similar sounding call signs, since flight B was following us.
