B727 main landing gear trunnion, duplicate holes from old part to new part. In process digital readout was misread from 1 mach to the other, 9/16 hole was mislocated, new trunnion was scrapped, re-duplicated new trunnion from old part.

Title: A B727-200 DURING REPLACEMENT OF THE L MAIN GEAR TRUNNION BEARING ASSEMBLY THE NEW FITTING WAS DRILLED INCORRECTLY. NEW PART WAS SCRAPPED.
Narrative: B727 MAIN LNDG GEAR TRUNNION, DUPLICATE HOLES FROM OLD PART TO NEW PART. IN PROCESS DIGITAL READOUT WAS MISREAD FROM 1 MACH TO THE OTHER, 9/16 HOLE WAS MISLOCATED, NEW TRUNNION WAS SCRAPPED, RE-DUPLICATED NEW TRUNNION FROM OLD PART.
