During the nighttime arrival rush on feb/xa/99, and the morning arrival rush on feb/xb/99, the sju control tower backup transmitter had failed during moderate traffic. Sju control tower main 118.30 transmitter has been out since hurricane george.

Title: SJU TWR BACK-UP FREQ XMITTER FAILED. RPTR'S COMPLAINT IS, THEIR MAIN XMITTER HAS BEEN OTS SEVERAL MONTHS.
Narrative: DURING THE NIGHTTIME ARR RUSH ON FEB/XA/99, AND THE MORNING ARR RUSH ON FEB/XB/99, THE SJU CTL TWR BACKUP XMITTER HAD FAILED DURING MODERATE TFC. SJU CTL TWR MAIN 118.30 XMITTER HAS BEEN OUT SINCE HURRICANE GEORGE.
