Narrative:

On departure from psp airport, the incorrect altitude was set in the alerter. Assigned altitude was 12000 ft, 13000 ft was set in the box. Lack of diligence by both crew members allowed this to happen. This event occurred on the last day of 4 days and 28 legs. The level of fatigue that hits you on the 4TH day is incredible. The commuter airlines are pushing us to the limit of the 'grand fathered' part 135 flight hours. One level of safety would be nice.
