Narrative:

On jan/xb/99 I was assigned to aircraft xyz right engine removal and replacement. I had signed off maintenance work card xzbyxx, page 3, step 5 (preparation for engine removal) as accomplished. I pulled all required breakers on the breaker panel and placed (placard wyxz) air carrier aircraft maintenance accident prevention sign placard on the center console of aircraft cockpit to act as a warning notice to anyone entering this area. It is common practice at air carrier to use this placard for notification of work being performed on aircraft by maintenance. All of air carrier fleets are equipped with this notice in the cockpit area.
