Narrative:
During takeoff at rotate speed, I was the PF and noticed commuter aircraft landing to the north and under us. I rotated more aggressively than standard to help avoid possible conflict. Good crew coordination in our cockpit as to situational awareness. Tower never notified us of commuter traffic. My opinion, had commuter done a go around, neither aircraft would've had any place to go to avoid a midair collision. Poor judgement on phl tower's part for putting either aircraft in the position we found ourselves. We at least should've been notified upon takeoff clearance of potential traffic hazard.

Narrative: DURING TKOF AT ROTATE SPD, I WAS THE PF AND NOTICED COMMUTER ACFT LNDG TO THE N AND UNDER US. I ROTATED MORE AGGRESSIVELY THAN STANDARD TO HELP AVOID POSSIBLE CONFLICT. GOOD CREW COORD IN OUR COCKPIT AS TO SITUATIONAL AWARENESS. TWR NEVER NOTIFIED US OF COMMUTER TFC. MY OPINION, HAD COMMUTER DONE A GAR, NEITHER ACFT WOULD'VE HAD ANY PLACE TO GO TO AVOID A MIDAIR COLLISION. POOR JUDGEMENT ON PHL TWR'S PART FOR PUTTING EITHER ACFT IN THE POS WE FOUND OURSELVES. WE AT LEAST SHOULD'VE BEEN NOTIFIED UPON TKOF CLRNC OF POTENTIAL TFC HAZARD.
